Free Stop Motion Animation Workshop for Teens
*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 11/11/2025
Students ages 11 to 15 are encouraged to explore the world of stop motion animation in this one-day workshop with Jewish Museum collection artist Maya Erdelyi. The workshop focuses on utilizing various techniques, experimenting with materials, and having fun with the animation process. Using objects, paint, sand, cut-paper puppets, and the human body (a technique known as pixilation), students learn the basics of animation and get plenty of time to create. Class ends with a celebration and screening of the work created that day.
