Join us in kicking off Black History Month with a contest celebrating the remarkable legacy of Lewis Latimer, African-American inventor, poet, and artist! This is a fantastic opportunity to delve into history, learn more about Latimer's legacy, and unleash your creativity to win exciting prizes including gift cards, a Scholastic book, or Steph Curry's "Black History Month edition" Lewis Latimer sneakers! Students will also have the opportunity to win a field trip for their class to visit the new permanent exhibition at Lewis Latimer House Museum, opening this spring!
