Parents Navigating Special Education/EI Support Circle

Parents, join us on Second Tuesdays from 8-9pm for our Parents Navigating Special Education & EI Circle!
We know how hard this journey can be, as your child’s advocate. We offer a support circle one evening a month that serves parents navigating Special Education and Early Intervention services for their children. This group provides a safe, supportive, and understanding environment in which parents can share experiences and connect with others. We will offer peer support, and cannot give professional or legal advice.
This group is co-facilitated by Jane Oswald, RN, Parenting Village Advisory Board Member, and mother of two children receiving support services, and Sarah Ozimek, Parenting Village Advisory Board Member and mother of two children who were supported through Early Intervention and now receive preschool/school services.

We welcome anyone to join whether you find yourself struggling and in need of extra support or merely want a connection and social time with others.
Circles are supportive groups facilitated by Parenting Village professionals with experience in family relationships and infant/child development. These groups offer parents the opportunity to share their joys and challenges with one another in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. In Circles, parents make meaningful connections, learn and grow together, and receive the support that they need to offer the best of themselves to their children.
